Raymond B. Lockman, 83, Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in Hilliard, Ohio.

Raymond was a longtime resident of Washington Courthouse, Ohio. He was a 1952 graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette, and received his master's degree in agronomy from Purdue in 1957. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1953 to 1955 in Germany. He was a former manager of Agrico Laboratories in Washington Courthouse, Ohio.
He was born Aug. 4, 1929, in Chicago and raised in Clearspring by the late John England and Florence Juanita Owen Lockman.
Survivors include a son, Paul (Deborah) Lockman, Hilliard; a stepson, Scott (Marsha) Lanum, Hilliard; two stepdaughters, Cindy Self, Las Vegas, and Leslie (David) DaRif, Washington Courthouse; a brother, Andy (Jan) Lockman, Brownstown; two grandsons, Morgan Anderson, Dunn, N.C., and Raymond (Hannah) Lockman, Dublin, Ohio; granddaughter, Adrienne and Daniel Crawford, Hilliard; and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Crawford, Hilliard.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Leigh Martin Lockman, whom he married in Brownstown in 1953, and Roberta "Bobbi" Speaks Lanum Lockman, whom he married Nov. 21, 1998, in Washington Courthouse; a daughter, Julie Ann Anderson; two brothers, Glenn and Jackie Lockman; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Hanners; a granddaughter, Wendy Leigh Lockman; and a son-in-law, Robert Scott Anderson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m Tuesday at Morrow Funeral Home in Washington Courthouse, with Pastor Robert Abrams of Resurrection Lutheran Church of Hilliard, officiating. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
