Betty J. Robinson, 81, Seymour, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Robinson retired from Arvin Industries after 45 years of service. She attended Seymour Community Church.
She was always working in her flowers, working on word books and playing cards. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids.
Born Jan. 6, 1931, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Harry and Anna Smith Hallett. She married Charles E. Robinson on Aug. 26, 1950, at Central Christian Church in Seymour.
Survivors include her children, Charlotte J. Bell and Roger D. Robinson; three grandchildren, Buffey (Richard) Smith, Chad Hatfield and Stephanie Robinson; five great-grandchildren, Donovan Smith, Darrion Smith, Taylor Hatfield, Lilly Hatfield and Evan Hatfield; and a brother, Harry Hallett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Robinson; a brother, Donald Hallett; and a sister, Helen Brammer.
Sister Carol Skaggs will conduct a graveside service at 10 a.m. Friday at Riverview Cemetery with a Voss Dove release.
