Bill E. Hercamp Sr., 90, Pendleton, formerly of Seymour, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at The Seymour Crossing.

Bill was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Bill was retired from Cummins Engine Co. and was a member of the Eagles Club, American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, all of Seymour.
Born Nov. 13, 1922, in Seymour, he was the son of Meda May (Wineinger) Hercamp and Frank Hercamp, who preceded him in death. On Feb. 28, 1942, in Jeffersonville, he married Edna Mae Deitz, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Ronnie Hercamp, Billy E. Hercamp Jr. and Carol (Edward) Thompson; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Debbie Eislie Hercamp; wife, Edna; brothers, Bob Hercamp, Delbert Hercamp, Malcomb Hercamp and Donald Hercamp; two infant brothers; and a sister, Edith Rose.
Calling was Saturday at Voss Chapel in Seymour. There was a flag presentation with taps.
A private burial was to take place at Riverview Cemetery.
