Charles Victor "Pud" Baker, 82, Seymour, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at his residence.

Charles was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was retired from being a self-employed antenna and TV serviceman. Charles was a member of American Legion Post 89. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Born Nov. 26, 1930, in Salem, he was the son of Mike and Myra (Coffey) Baker. On Oct. 11, 1952, he married Doris Joan Amos, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Vicki (Kenneth) Self, Steve Baker, Lori (Bryan) Baatz and Jeff Baker; grandchildren, Amy (Shane) Criswell, Aaron (Becky) Self and Katy Baatz; great-grandchildren, Parker, Noah, Chloe, Shelby, Jackson and Andrew; and a sister, Dorothy Hyde.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Beulah Yarber, Beatrice McGill and Velva Baker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Rodriguez officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church.
Memorials may be written to the grandchildren's medical fund in care of Vicki Self.
