Olin Davidson, 75, of Winter Haven, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his residence after a short illness.

He was born in Oneida, Ky., on July 29, 1937, to George and Bessie Davidson, who preceded him in death.
Olin leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Gullet Davidson. They had two children, Barbara Balco and husband Byron of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Curtis Gene Davidson, also of Pittsburgh.
For the past 10 years, Olin spent his retirement on Kentucky Lake in Murray, Ky. He and Dorothy recently relocated to Winter Haven, Fla.
He lived 75 years of a joyous life of health and happiness. He was a hard-working man dedicated to his family and friends who brought constant joy to all he met. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving brothers and sisters are Oakley Davidson of Murray, Ky., Curtis Davidson of Crothersville, Judy Bannister of Crothersville, Sandra O'Neil of Seymour and Pam Mannix of Crothersville.
He had eight grandchildren, Pamela Hunnel, married to Jason of New Windsor, Md., David Liddell, married to Erin of Pittsburgh, Jaymmie Mackowiak, married to David of Pittsburgh, Michael Johnson of Pittsburgh, Beau Balco, Pittsburgh, Olina Balco, Pittsburgh, Brand Balco, of Chicago, and Brooke Balco of Chicago.
There are eight great-grandchildren, Noah, Nicholas and Ethan Hunnel, Hailey and Kenna Liddell and Joseph, Aubrie and Grace Mackowiak.
Also preceding him in death were brothers, George, David, Herman and Doug Davidson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crothersville Baptist Church for family and friends.
