Pamela June "Pam" Bowling, 61, Alexandria, Ky., passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, Ky.

Born Sept. 28, 1951, in Winter Haven, Fla., she was the daughter of Carl Vogel and Winifred Gadd Vogel.
Pamela graduated from Jennings County High School in 1969. She recently retired from the Internal Revenue Service as an appeals settlement officer in the Cincinnati office with 33 years of faithful service. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved being with her grandchildren and was affectionately called "Mamaw Pam."
She will be sadly missed by her children, Laura Bowling, Elsmere, Ky., Tasha Bowling, Alexandria, Ky., and Jason Bowling, Paintsville, Ky.; her mother, Winifred Vogel, Seymour; sisters, Margaret "Peggy" (Cyrus) Adams, Vincennes, and Debbie (Bob) Matney, Commiskey; brother, Danny (Caroleen) Vogel, Louisville, Ky.; and four grandchildren, Joseph Bowling, Jenna Bowling, Shawn Henson and Nadia Antoun.
Funeral service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Fort Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, Ky., with pastor G.L. Williams officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, Ky.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
