Patricia Dixon, 78, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born Nov. 18, 1934, in
Seymour, she was the daughter of Herbert and Lottie (Harding) Harper. On July 31, 1952, in Seymour, she married Richard E. Dixon, who preceded her in death on April 30, 1996.
Patricia was a 1952 graduate of Seymour High School. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. She was employed at Lear Siegler for 20 years.
Survivors include her children, Mark W. (Karen) Dixon, Connie (Max) Pollert, Rhonda (Bruce) Thompson and Jo Ellen Shasteen; grandchildren, Kelly Dixon, Ashley Dixon Harris, Jonathon Pollert, Lisa Pollert Wallace, Lora Pollert, Brooke Thompson, Courtney Thompson and Justin Shasteen; six great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin J. Harper; sister, Jean (Mack) Nichols; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Betty Harper, Ralph Dixon, Lilly (Dale) Martin, Tom and Jenny Dixon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Glen Harper; sister, Evelyn Thompson; and sister-in-law, Mary Aldeen Trowbridge.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, with the Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, the Rev. Philip Bloch, the Rev. James Rodriguez and Vicar Joseph Barlau officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church through Voss Funeral Service, Seymour.
