Sarah M. Bryant, 87, Freetown, passed away at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at her home.

Sarah had worked at various jobs throughout her life, but her time working as a CNA at Janey's Nursing Home in Franklin is what she enjoyed the most. Her favorite pastime was quilting, however she liked to cook, and she enjoyed spending time not only with her children and grandchildren, but all children. She was a member of Pikes Peak Church of Christ.
Born May 9, 1925, in Tompkinsville, Ky., she was a daughter of John Hagan and Lona (Botts) Hagan, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1938, she married Otha Bryant, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include children, Jimmy Bryant, Bobby Bryant and Alice Stephens and a grandson that she raised, Gary Bryant; two brothers, Georgie Hagan and Paul Hagan; 28 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Ruth Joyce Bryant; sons, Jerry "Bear" Bryant, Thomas Bryant, Joe Bryant and Johnny Bryant; and two sisters, Rosie Brown and Ruby Curtis.
Charles Wright will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, 320 N. High St., Brownstown. Burial will be Wednesday afternoon at Old Mount Herman Cemetery in Tompkinsville, Ky.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
