Sherry Gail Fleetwood, 62, of Brownstown died Sunday morning, Sept. 1, 2013, at IU Health in Indianapolis.

She had been ill for one year.
She was a member of Brownstown Christian Church. She was once employed at Spartans in Brownstown and then Tecumseh in Salem, but over the past 20 years she had been a homemaker and enjoyed
taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren and loved gardening and working in her yard.
Sherry was born May 28, 1951, in Seymour to the late James Frank Robinson and Mabel Ilene ""Tiny"" Durham. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. On Jan. 24, 1970, in Seymour, she married Donny Fleetwood. He survives in Brownstown.
She also is survived by two children, Gina (Todd) Gilpin of Columbus and Mason (Tawnya) Fleetwood of Vallonia; four grandchildren, Devin and Ashley Gilpin, and Colton and Chandler Fleetwood; and two sisters, Nancy Champ and Jenny Robinson, both of Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steve Robinson.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home in Vallonia, with the Rev. Wes Jones officiating. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until service time Thursday. Burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
