Shirley Joan Arnold, 70, Seymour, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Shirley had been employed as head cook at Waffle House in Ocala, Fla. She enjoyed reading the Bible, watching Colts football games, NASCAR and Cincinnati Reds baseball games, and being with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Born Nov. 18, 1942, in Medora, she was the daughter of Harel "Popeye" and Luella Jane (Ault) McCory. She married Robert Lee Roberts, who preceded her in death. She then married Daniel Edward Arnold, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Rosaland Ault, Randall (LiCrisa) Ault, Madeline (Mark) Scales and Paula (Randall) Greene; grandchildren, Brandon and Joseph Gasaway, Billy Dallas Ault, Stephanie Randles, Angela Whittenburg, Toni Evans, Lora Lingafelter, Michelle Fowler, Gregory Scott and Randall Greene III; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Karen) Weir, Larry (Teresa) Weir and Tom McCory; and sisters, Marilyn (I.J.) Chadwell, Tressa (Barry) Cutter and Cathy (Don) Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; and sisters, Judy Soladine, Mary Martin and Phyllis Mungle.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with Brother Bob Persinger officiating. Burial will take place at Whites Chapel Cemetery.
