Thomas Dale Wince, 57, Nashville, Tenn., and formerly of Seymour, passed away unexpectedly in Nashville.
Tom was a graduate of Seymour High School and a member of First Baptist Church. After high school he began traveling with John Mellencamp as he was an accomplished pianist and well known all over the United States.
Tom had the opportunity to play for many professional artists and travel the country but always elected to stay close to home. In the past few years, Tom had lived in Bloomington and Nashville, Tenn., playing the piano for many musicians and churches.
Born Oct. 19, 1955, in Seymour, he was the son of Vincent V. and Mary Kathryn Wince.
Survivors include his son, Jarrod Wince; brother, Timothy Wince; sister, Debbie Sue Wince; aunt, Dona Gouyd; and niece, Heather Feldner.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be designated to the Tom Wince Funeral Expense Fund.
