Max Eugene Gasaway, 80, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at his home.

Born June 19, 1934, in Seymour, he was the son of Clarence Paul and Mildred (McElfresh) Gasaway. He married Connie Kay Wiseman.
Max formerly owned the Walton Hotel.
Survivors include his wife; children, Ronald Gasaway, Angie Austin, Harold Gasaway, Angi Gasaway, Terri Jo Fahoum, Joe Paul Gasaway, Mary Jo Gasaway, Ami Jo Asifi, Max Eugene Gasaway Jr., Jerry Deloach, Eric Childress, Brandon Gasaway and Joey Gasaway; 26 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Melvin Gasaway.
His parents and a sister, Betty Hall, preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with Ronald Gasaway officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
