Anni K. Collier, 90, Seymour, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Lutheran Commu­nity Home, Sey­mour.
Anni was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a member of the Ladies Aid at Immanuel. She was employed as a registered nurse in Missouri.
After coming to Seymour, she was employed as a nurse's aide for five years at Schneck Medical Center. She worked 21 years for Dr. Kenneth Bobb in his medical office and was his housekeeper and caregiver for his mother for three years. Anni worked for Talon for 20 years, at Medora Plastic Factory for eight years and Sylvania for seven years and was employed at Walmart until her retirement in 2004. She raised her children and her granddaughter, Aliethia Keith.
Born April 1, 1922, in Germany, she was the daughter of Anton and Anna K. (Hoppner) Muller, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1945, she married James C. Collier in Germany. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Survivors include her children, Merry (Rex) Cowles, Shirley (Jim) Lookingbill, Antoinette Bowen, Heidi Collier, Fred (Sharon) Collier and Frank Collier; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James Rodriguez officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church in memory of Anni K. Collier.
