Bonnie Lou Herndon

Bonnie Lou Herndon CASTLEWOOD, Va. Bonnie Lou Herndon. age 63, went be with the Lord Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, in the Russell County Medical Center. Born Aug. 1, 1947, a daughter of the late Charlie Wesley Belcher and the late Dolly Mae Ball Belcher, she was a former employee of Lebanon and Grassy Creek Apparel Companies. She was a 23-year member of Deliverance Ministries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, James Leonard Belcher, Charlie Junior Belcher, Clarence Gene Belcher, and Willie Belcher; three sisters, Betty Lou Belcher, Ann R. Belcher and Judy Vandiver. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Doug Herndon; four brothers, Marvin Belcher and wife Gladys Belcher, James Belcher and wife Wanda Belcher, Daniel Belcher and Donnie Belcher, all of North Carolina; also several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, in the Combs Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. David Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at the funeral home.
