Albert Franklin King BRISTOL, Va. Albert Franklin King, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 30, 1930, to the late John M. King and Gertrude Walling King. He had lived in Bristol most of his life and was a member of Belle Meadows Baptist Church. Mr. King loved attending church and enjoyed being an usher at Belle Meadows Baptist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur King, Andrew King, Troy King, and Robert King; two sisters, Gladys Frye and Hazel King, and a brother-in-law, Charles Cornelius. Survivors: sister, Althea Cornelius; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Haynes, Rev. Dewey Williams, and Rev. Darrell Fritts officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in the VA National Cemetery at Mountain Home, Tenn., on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at 11 a.m. The family would like to say a special thanks to a nephew, Bobby Ashley, and a great-niece, Mary King, for their support and assistance during a difficult time.
