Annie McGhee Sanders RICH VALLEY, Va. Annie McGhee Sanders, age 84, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at her home. She was a lifelong devoted worker for God at the Chatham Hill Church of God, and was a true Christian witness to everyone with whom she came in contact. Mrs. Sanders retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Estel and Susie McGhee; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by: husband of 66 years, Roy Sanders; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Calvin Lucy of Abingdon, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Susan Sanders of Saltville, Va.; grandchildren, Eric (Sara) Lucy of Denver, Ryan (Ashley) Sanders of Saltville, Sarah Sanders of Saltville; great-grandchildren, Braden Lucy, Tristan Lucy, Brady Sanders. Lakyn Burchett and Bryce (to be born); sisters, Dora (Landon) McAllister, Hazel Ford, Laura (Robert) Blevins, Mixie (Dallas) McAllister, Joyce (Earl) Blevins and Betty (Bill) Bise. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at the Chatham Hill Church of God, with Rev. Bob Shupe, Rev. Robert Million and Rev. Jeremy Dunn officiating, Burial will follow in the Ridgedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Henderson Funeral Home.
