Bertha Morelock BRISTOL, Tenn. Bertha Morelock, age 80, passed away on April 20, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Honaker, Va., a daughter to the late Earl and Ada Ray Burnette Monk. Bertha returned to Bristol about 10 years after living in Orlando, Fla., for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Morelock; and a son, Ronnie William Arnold. Survivors include: children, Roger Lee Vinson Sr., Danny D. Vinson, Stella Norton, Kathy Jo Murphy, Diane Marie Phillips, and Tom Arnold; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Arnold officiating. Committal service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers includeVinson Jr., Rick Vinson, Forrest Swiney, Rocky Vinson, J.J. Smith, and Vince Swiney. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-7:45 p.m. prior to the service.
