Betty Viola Hensley The committal service for Betty Viola Hensley will be conducted at 11 a.m., Mon day, June 14, 2010, in Malone Cemetery, Bristol Virginia. Pallbearers will be Junior Hensley, Steven Hensley, Adam Barker, Danny Hensley, Gordon Barker, Gary Hensley, and Mark Hensley. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Malone Cemetery Association in care of Herbert Hensley, 19335 Campground Road, Bristol, VA 24202. E-mail condolences may be sent to the family of Miss Hensley at [email protected] Betty Viola Hensley, age 79, formerly of Bristol Virginia, who had lived at Serenity Adult Care in Meadowview, Va., since 2002, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at Wellmont Hospice House. Akard Funeral Home, 1912 W. State St., Bristol, TN (423) 989-4800 is serving the family of Miss Hensley.

How very blessed we were to have Viola in our lives. She was such a joy to be around and her outlook on life was so refreshing. It was an honor caring for her these last several years. She will be greatly missed.
