L.H. "Bill" Turner BRISTOL, Va. L.H. "Bill" Turner, 75, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was the owner of AAA Remodeling and Home Improvement for over 40 years. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Margaret Worley Turner; and two brothers, Clifford and Herbert Turner. He especially loved his grandchildren, telling funny stories and loved being in the outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Marian Turner; a son, Greg Turner and wife, Donna of Bristol Virginia; two grandchildren, Makensie and Madison Turner; a sister, Shirley Tolley of Bristol Virginia; a half-sister, Gennelle Jenkins of New York City; a brother, Phillip Turner and wife, Jo Ann of Bristol Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Worley. Burial will follow in Susong Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doyle Rutherford, David Rutherford, Frank Rutherford, Doug Pritchard, Greg Turner and Jeff Crumley. The family will receive friends from 5 7 p.m . Wednesday at Akard Funeral Home.
