Billy G. Shuttle LADY LAKE, Fla. Billy G. Shuttle, 77, died Thursday, October 14, 2010. He was born Dec. 5, 1932 in Bristol Virginia. He was a retired Systems Analyst/Programmer for Sperry Univac with 31 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Korean War era and served in Landsberg, Germany. He moved to The Villages from Bristol Tennessee in 1993. He attended The First Baptist Church of The Villages, Fla. He enjoyed playing golf especially at Tierra Del Sol and he shot his age twice. He was member of A Hole-in-One Club. He enjoyed traveling, reading listening to music, especially gospel music. He is survived by wife of 51 years, Joyce Shuttle of Lady Lake; brother, Fred (Judy) Shuttle of Bristol Virginia; brother-in-law, Larry (Karen) Talley of Atlanta; three nieces, Kristin Talley of Atlanta; Gina Yates of Piney Flats, Tenn., and Carrol Marie Bains of Bristol Tennessee; two nephews, Kevin Shuttle of Harrisonburg, Va., and Larry Wayne Talley of Hampton, Tenn.; and numerous great-nephews and nieces. Memorial service will be at Beyers Funeral Chapel, Lady Lake, Fla., on Sunday, October 17 at 3 p.m., with Pastor Bob Perry officiating. There will be a gathering of friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
