Billy Lowell Wood BRISTOL, Tenn . Billy Lowell Wood, age 74, passed away on Dec. 25, 2009, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Scott County, Va., a son to W.S. and Nannie Frazier Wood. Billy was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include: wife, Violet Nunn Wood; daughters, Patricia Sherfey and husband Roscoe of Meadowview, Va., Elizabeth Houser and husband Gary of Bristol Virginia; sons, Frankie Nunn and wife Kim of Bristol Tennessee, Charlie Nunn of Knoxville, Tenn., and Melvin Nunn and wife Cindy of Bristol Tennessee; two nphews; one niece; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at 7 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roy Yelton officiating, assisted by Pastor Bobby Burrow. Commital services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Va. Friends and neighbors of Sheri Drive will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-6:45 p.m. prior to the service.
