Calvin took me in as one of his own children. In my eyes he is more than a Marine, father, or loved one, but simply a HERO. Thank you to his parents most of all for raising a wonderful man. For that, I am truly greatful.

My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Calvin was a dear friend his sophomore year and my senior year at East High School. He was also my prom date that year and such a kind person. I would also like to express my gratitude for his commitment and service to our country in the Marine Corps.
