Cecil Davis Webb BRISTOL, Va. Cecil Davis Webb, 90, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, in UT Medical Center in Knoxville, Tenn. He was born in Washington County, Va., and was a son of the late Bernard and Martha Ann Davis Webb. Cecil retired from the Washington County School Systems and was a farmer. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Rich Valley United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Humphrey Webb; four sisters; and one brother. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Cecil was a hard working member of his community and had many great friends and neighbors. He always had a love for his family, his friends, and his country. Survivors are his daughters, Patricia W. Hancock and husband Robert of Kodak, Tenn., and Linda Duty and husband Walter of Bristol Virginia; grandson, Shannon Lee Casey of Long Beach, Calif.; sisters-in-law, Irene Wallace and Hope Humphrey of Abingdon; and several nieces and nephews.
