I had the pleasure of working with Sgt. Hash at the Washington County Virginia Sheriffs office from 1983-1986. He taught me more about being a good law enforcement man than any other before or since. May eteranl rest and peace be with him now. So long old friend.

Doris, Janet, Steve & Rachel -

Our hearts are saddened by news of your loss. Don was such a wonderful man and had a huge impact on each of our lives. Whether he was sitting on the front porch, in the police cruiser or the boat seat, Don was such a gentleman and taught us how we should treat each other.

I know that he is by the river in heaven with my his old friend now...he and "Polly" have a lot of catching up to do!

Our love and prayers are with you all!
