Charlie Edward Rhoton DUFFIELD, Va. Charlie Edward Rhoton, age 78, went to be home with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport. He was a life long resident of Scott County, Va. Charlie was retried from Scott County School System as a bus driver with over 25 years of service. He was a member of Grit Hill Community Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred J. and Myrtle Sloan Rhoton; two sisters, Bonnie Rhoton and Edith Williams; and two brothers, Howard Rhoton and Berdine Rhoton. Survivors include his wife of over 58 years, Frankie Matney Rhoton of the home; two daughters, Kathy Repass and husband Randy of Clinchport and Patsy Vaughn and husband Ronnie of Fall Branch; three grandchildren, John David Repass, Lakieta Repass and Alisha Repass; four sisters, Allie Stewart of Duffield, Dorothy Pendergrass and husband Ralph of Bristol Virginia, Lois M. Jones of Bristol Virginia, and Eula Taylor of Duffield; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Scott County Funeral Home, 2060 U.S. Highway 23N, Weber City, VA. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 7 p.m. with Pastor Jackie Frazier and Rev. Kevin Vincent officiating. Music will be provided by the Lee Smith Singers. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Rhoton Family Cemetery, (Redwine Hollow Lane), Clinchport, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is his special friend, Coy Kindle. Aunt Frankie,
