Clara Fields Hileman CASTLEWOOD, Va. Clara Fields Hileman, beautiful, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, departed this life on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at 9 a.m., to be with Jesus and her husband, Alec Fields. She was the daughter of the late, Carl and Hilda Dingus Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alec Fields; one son, Dennis Leon Fields; one brother, Taft Johnson; three sisters, Juanita Ervin, Ann Tipton and Clinas Kilgore. She is survived by one daughter, Judy Shaffer and husband, Larry, of Buford, Ga.; one son, Ronald A. Fields and wife, Glemia, of St. Paul, Va.; two sisters, Carol Jennings, and husband, Sid, of Castlewood, Va., and Louise Fields, of Dante, Va.; special aunt and friend, Cleo Dingus; special friend, Lola Long; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Clara Fields Hileman will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, in the Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Va., with Rev. Olen Cassell and Rev. Mike Moore officiating. Committal services and Interment will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Va. Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be Tim Castle, Ronald Dingus, Larry Shaffer, Jock Fields, Kenneth Johnson and Jeffrey Salyer. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Long and Roger Dingus. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Va.
