Claude Mullins Obituary
Claude was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and had been a member of the Clintwood Masonic Lodge No. 66 since 1961. Has been a member of the Clintwood Volunteer Fire Department for more than 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnie and Georgie Baker Mullins, and brothers, Clarence and Paul Mullins.
He is survived by his wife, Marline Mullins of Clintwood; sisters, Myrtle Childress and husband Harold of Clintwood, Mildred Brooks and husband Calvin of Clintwood, Marie Johnson of Elizabethton, Tenn., Beulah Overstreet of Salem, Va., Brenda Dotson and husband Ronnie of Morristown, Tenn., and Linda Stanley of Salem, Va.; sister-in-law, Mary Mullins; sons, Mitchell Mullins and wife Debbie of Clintwood and Kevin Mullins and wife Sandy of Clintwood; daughter, Debbie Holmes and husband Marty of Clintwood; granddaughters, Emily Mullins, Amy Mullins and Lauren Mullins; and grandsons, Grantt Mullins and wife Jennifer, Derek Holmes and Chad Holmes.
Pallbearers will be Grantt Mullins, Derek Holmes, Chad Holmes, Harry Dean Childress, Marty Allen Childress, Kenny Ray Johnson, Mathew Stanley, Wayne Mullins, Mike Mullins and Craig Mullins. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Mullins, Carroll Ray Baker, Virgil Mullins, Eddie Baker, Dr. Kurtz Alderman, Dr. Lurton Lyle, Dale Yates, A.J. Lambert, Greg Lambert, Donald Baker, C.W. Dotson and members of the Masonic Lodge No. 66.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 20, at 6 p.m. in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel, where a Masonic service will be held by the Clintwood Masonic Lodge No. 66 at 7 p.m., with Clergymen Allan Bonnell and Joe Glenn Sluss officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, April 21, at 11 a.m., with Clintwood's VFW Post 8979, DAV Chapter 35 and American Legion Post 227 in the Phipps Cemetery Clintwood section.

So very sorry to hear of Claudes passing.I can remember each Christmas Claude and Marlene decorating their home and grounds for the holidays. Claude will be sorely missed.God Bless you all
