Clayton Eugene Puckett Sr. Clayton Eugene Puckett Sr., born Jan. 5, 1936, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was a retired carpenter and concrete finisher and was of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was an avid UT Volunteer and Indianapolis Colts football fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Correll Puckett; his parents and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by: daughter, Pam Bennett and husband, Lynn; two sons, Mark Puckett and wife, Kelly, Clayton Puckett Jr.; grandchildren, Sean Correll, Trista Shaffer, Ashley Puckett and Sarah Puckett; great-grandchildren, McKenzi White, Haley Correll and Nathan Morrison. The family would like your presence to honor their father at the Weaver Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a chapel service at 7 p.m. with Pastor William Venable officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Bennett, Jack Lane, Ray Fleenor, Ronald Reynolds, Dave Johnson, Dennis Wiles, Jim Martinez and Kenny Mack. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given on behalf of the homeless to the Haven of Rest Rescue Mission, 624 Anderson Street, Bristol, TN 37620. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net Arrangements were made with Weaver Funeral Home.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, I worked at Food City for 5 yrs. and every time that Mr. Puckett came in he would brighten the day for us. He was a very caring and friendly man. My prayers are with you and your family. Joanna Milhorn (Bluff City)
