CLEO TAYLOR VANCE

Cleo Taylor Vance BRISTOL, Tenn. Cleo Taylor Vance, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bristol Virginia, a daughter to the late Eugene Edward and Eugenia Hobbs Taylor. Cleo attended Friendship Chapel. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Ila T. Wells; son, Robert L. "Bob" Vance; and a brother, Franklin Taylor. Survivors include husband, George D. Vance; daughters, Joann Vance and husband, Robert, and Judy Haske and husband, Fred; son, Rocky Vance; brother, George B. Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Noah Stout officiating. Committal service will be held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-7:45 p.m. prior to the service. The family would like to say a special thanks to 2nd Floor at NHC and to Daniel Gross for their thoughtfulness and loving care.
