Clyde Glen Grindstaff

Clyde Glen Grindstaff BRISTOL, Tenn. Clyde Glen Grindstaff, age 69, passed away, Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born August 9, 1941, in Bluff City, Tenn., a son of the late Glen and Beulah Crawford Grindstaff. He was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was the owner and operator of Clyde's Garage. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Ronnie, Johnny and Lisa; a granddaughter, Tiffany and his brother, Clarence Grindstaff. Survivors include:loving wife of 52 years, Wilma Colleen Greene Grindstaff; children, Michael L. Grindstaff and friend Sherry Blevins, Clyde Randall Grindstaff and wife Sandra Kay, Tina M. Johnson and husband Willard; six grandchildren, Tabitha and Brandi Grindstaff, Timothy and Jason Grindstaff, Ashley Pemberton and husband Brian, Brandon Johnson; great-granddaughter, Tierra Grindstaff; brother, Phillip Grindstaff and wife Susie; sisters-in-law, Joyce Grindstaff, Margie Woods and Doris Thomas; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Bowers Cemetery in Stoney Creek.
