Constance Allen

Constance B. Allen BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. Constance B. Allen. age 87, went to be with her Lord, Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Norfolk, Va., to the late Henry and Carrie Naylor Boyle. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired employee of AAA Answering Service. Mrs. Allen was a kind, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-sister, Virginia Harry; and a son, George Thomas "Tommy" Allen Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Bette Harris and Cheryl Faidley of Bristol Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Cheryl NeSmith Gibson of Viper, Ky., Angela Faidley Patrick and husband David Brian of Bristol Virginia, Donna and Sandra Allen, Toni, Terry and Tracy Harris; four great-grandchildren, Joe and Josh Gibson of Viper, Brian and Rhiannon Patrick of Bristol Virginia; and one nephew, Jack Bullock of California. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Tetrick Funeral Home Bluff City Chapel. Music will be provided by Cliff Hand. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bill Wise, David Patrick, Lawrence Faidley, Brian Patrick, Joe Gibson, Cliff Hand and Josh Gibson. The family will receive friends from 5 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City.
