Corey Dove

Corey Russell Dove KINGSPORT, Tenn. Corey Russell Dove, age 36, 220 Alabama St., passed away after an apparent heart attack Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Indian Path Medical Center. He was born in Johnson City, Tenn., and was a son of Susan Dove and the late Bobby Dove. Corey was a 1992 graduate of Daniel Boone High School and attended Northeast State. In addition to his father, Bobby Dove, who passed away June 3, 2010, he was preceded in death by a son, Daxton Dove; and his paternal grandfather, Russell Dove. Corey is survived by his wife, Betty Dove of Kingsport; mother, Susan Dove of Gray; one sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Norman Davis of Gray; maternal grandparents, Francisco and Martha Alvarez of New Jersey; paternal grandmother, Christine Dove of Gray; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jessie and Carolyn Henry of Kingsport; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tommy and Ruth Stapleton of Kingsport; sister-in-law, Alice Crawford of Greeneville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Gary Henry of Kingsport; nieces, Ashley Stapleton, Samantha Crawford and Kelly Stapleton, all of Kingsport; nephew, Aaron Crawford of Kingsport; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at 10 a.m. in the Gray Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
