Darrell Wayne Ketron Darrell Wayne Ketron, born Oct. 16, 1955, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 15, 2010, at his home in Bristol. Darrell was a natural born inventor who never met a stranger, and his contagious laugh and quirky sense of humor could light up any room. He found humor in everything and ironically lived 54 years and 364 days. He married his kindergarten sweetheart, Loretta, and they would have celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary today. He was an adored father to his girls Brandi and Brittany, an irreplaceable papa to his grandbabies Drew, Elanna, Leanna, Dustin, and Destinee. Darrell retired from Eastman after 34 years of employment, where he was a great colleague and friend to many. Darrell is survived by his wife, Loretta Duckett Ketron; parents, Harvey and Audrey Hunsucker Ketron; daughters, Brandi Ketron McCracken and husband, Randall, and Brittany Ketron Autry and husband, Andy; grandchildren, Drew Autry, Leanna, Elanna, Dustin, and Destinee McCracken; grandmother, Artis Taylor Hunsucker; brothers, Roger Ketron and wife, Kim, and Terry Ketron; his special in-laws and friends, Clifford and Trula Duckett; several nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow Hunsucker, Everett and Lola Ketron. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith McGrew officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include: David Ketron, Garnett Vicars, Ross Spahr, Danny Shupe, Charlie Wilson, David Watkins, Doyle White, and Darryl Duncan. Honorary pallbearers include all of co-workers at Eastman, friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Weaver Funeral Home.
