David F. Willis CLINTWOOD, Va. David F. Willis, 64, died at his home on Nov. 16. He was preceded in death by his parents, John S. and Bertha Fleming Willis. Mr. Willis lived in Clintwood all of his life and was a member of Clintwood Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University and was an accountant by profession. Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Ann Willis of Bluefield, W.Va.; two brothers, Johnny Willis and wife Mary Jo, of Clintwood and William Carl Willis and wife Sheila, of Abingdon. He is also survived by a niece, Laura Harris and husband Jason, of Abingdon. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m., with Kenneth Childress officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery in Clintwood. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers are Earl Mullins, Fred Salyer, Gary Willis, Freddie Linkous, Larue Fleming, Freddie Mullins and Dr. N.C. Ratliffe.
