Deborah Kay Patterson CHURCH HILL, Tenn. Deborah Kay Patterson, age 54, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2010, at her residence. She was born June 1, 1956, to Helen Thomas and the late Jessie Eugene O'Neal. She had lived in this area for the past several years and was an employee of Charter Communications. Deborah was a member of Gospel Fellowship Church in Kingsport. Survivors: son, Steven Patterson and wife Layne; mother, Helen Cress and husband Ray; granddaughter, Avery Elise Patterson; brother, Jessie O'Neal; sisters, Heather Hutchins and husband Jeff, Brandi Calhoun; nieces and nephews, Ashley and Chelsea Hutchins, Brenton and Taylor Marlow, Zoe O'Neal, Savannah O'Neal, Phoebe O'Neal; several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010, from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Melvin Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2 prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brenton Marlow, Kevin Davis, Jeff Hutchins, Dewayne Murray, Rick Patterson, and Steven Patterson. There is no easy way to deal with the loss of a loved one and this is no exception. Debbie was a good person and a fun person to be around, always accepting of others and her open heart was kind and generous. She is loved by so many and will be always in our hearts and prayers.
