Dennis Hoback

Dennis Allen Hoback BRISTOL, Va. Dennis Allen Hoback, 62, died on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bristol Virginia and was a son of Kathleen Fisher Hoback and the late George Allen Hoback. Dennis was an avid reader and loved the arts. He graduated from the University of North Carolina and from East Tennessee State University with a Masters degree in English. Dennis is survived by his mother Kathleen Hoback; two brothers, Mark Hoback and wife Ann and Scott Hoback and wife Becky; aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fisher, Mrs. Mildred Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoback, Mr. Joe Lowenthal, Mr. and Mrs. Bill McCormick, Mr. and Mrs. Don Hoback, and several cousins. The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, Aug. 16, 2010, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, with Dr. Gordon Turnbull officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to First Presbyterian Church, 701 Florida Avenue, Bristol, TN 37620.
