Doris Jean Hendrick MARION, Va. Doris Jean Hendrick age 83, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Francis Marion Manor, Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. and Opal Hendrick of Roanoke, Va.; sisters, Lillian Francis Hendrick and Lucille H. Garris. Doris is survived by her brother, Eugene Hendrick and wife, Letitia of Marion; nephews, W.E. "Gene" Hendrick III of Berkley Heights, N.J., and John P. Hendrick and his wife, Keary of Phoenixville, Pa.; niece, Vickie G. Vance and husband, Bill of Kingsport, Tenn.; and several grand nephews and grand-nieces. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Burial Park, 1307 Summit Avenue SW, Roanoke, Va., with the Rev. Jonathan Jonas officiating. There will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Food and Fellowship Program, First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, VA 24354.
