Doris Mildred Keller Mead BRISTOL, Tenn. Doris Mildred Keller Mead, 80, passed away quitely at home on Wednesday Dec. 9, 2009. She was born July 2, 1929, in Coeburn, Va., to the late Orville Jordan and Sally Davis Berkeley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Reginald "Bernie" Mead Jr.; grandson, Eric J. Eury; granddaughter, Marie Smith; and sister, Billie J. Hamilton .She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Doris is survived by her husband of 57 years, Reginald B. Mead Sr.; daughters, Camilla Eury and husband Thomas, of Winchester, Va., Doris Mead and Anthony Davis, Kim Baker and husband Henry, all of Bristol Tennessee, Robin Jeffires and husband Haywood of Houston; sons, Craig Meade and wife Melanie, Timothy Mead, and Alex Mead, all of Bristol Tennessee; special nieces, Linda Sampang and Mitzi Hamilton; 19 grandchildren; 27 great- grandchildren; her special pet, Rudy; and many other loving family members and friends. A private service will be held Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Blevins Funeral and Cremation Services, with Brothers Blake Phillippi, Bill Ross and Craig Meade officiating. Interment will follow.
