Eddie C. Noe GREENEVILLE, Tenn. The Rev. Eddie C. Noe, age 66, of Mt. Pleasant Road, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a retired United Methodist minister, who was actively serving as pastor of Bybee United Methodist Church. He served churches in the Holston Conference for 31 years. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Brenda Noe; four children and their spouses, Rita Willis, Jeff and Tonya Noe, Scott and Kristi Noe, Chris and Renee Noe; eight grandchildren, Joseph Noe-Willis, Joshua Willis, Tyler Noe, Jacob Noe, Jackson Noe, Ashley Noe, Abby Rose Noe, and Amanda Noe; two great-grandchildren, Zakarya Noe and Isaijah Ortiz; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Pat Noe and Jerry and Allison Noe; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Fred Carr and Linda and Raymond Lane; one brother-in-law; and two sisters-in-law; and their spouses, Roger and Jan Tomlinson, Joan and Tom Slatton, and Mary and Ron Krause and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Eddie Noe Sr.; two brothers, Fred Parsons and Pete Parsons. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jack Stevens and the Rev. Don Nation will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home, Greeneville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston United Methodist Home for Children, 404 Holston Drive, Greeneville, TN 37743. I can still remember the night dad died and Eddie and Brenda holding me while I cried and then driving me back to Bristol from Damascus. I couldn't have been in a better place that night. May God hold all of you in his hands now while you grieve. Thanks for being there that night 30 yrs ago.

We are so sorry for your loss. Eddie served as our pastor at Laurel Community Church in Damascus, Va. several years ago, Eddie always had an uplifting spirit and smile.
