Edgar B. "Eddie" Patterson BRISTOL, Va. Edgar B. "Eddie" Patterson, age 57, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at his home. He was born Dec. 15, 1953, in Bristol Tennessee, son of the late Norman and Mary Myers Patterson. He has lived his life in the Bristol area and was retired from Wackenhut Security. Eddie was a 1972 graduate of East High School, graduate of ETSU and a member of Celebration Church. Survivors include: wife, Pam K. Blanton Patterson; daughters, Rhonda Duncan, Rhonda Blanton, Tabby Usary and husband Chris, Brandy Melton and husband Tim; grandchildren, Maggie, Jacob, Noah and Lucas Roller, Taylor Blanton, Logan and Chloe Melton; mother-in-law, Violet Freeman; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Russell and Mark Lowe officiating. The family received friends from 6-8 prior to the funeral service or other times at 2309 Windsor Ave., Bristol, TN. At Mr. Patterson's request, his body will be cremated. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Moore, Danny Jessee, Roger Wangsgard, Walter Harrison, Butch Tritt, John Williams, Mark Lowe and T.J. Darnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Celebration Church, 429 Shipley Ferry Road, Blountville, TN 37617.
