Edna Haseltine Keesee BRISTOL, Va. Edna Haseltine Keesee, 80, died on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in the Conway Regional Hospital Center. She was born in Erwin, Tenn., on Sept. 24, 1930, a daughter of the late James Wilson White and Phoebe Hampton White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Bernard Keesee; brothers, James W. White Jr., Raymond E. White, and Robert J. White; sister, Hazel White Hodges; and grandson, Stuart M. Keesee. Edna was employed at Burlington Industries, later Klopman Mills in Bristol Tennessee and was a life-long member of King Memorial Presbyterian Church Edna was a lively, outgoing person. She was a wonderful cook and hostess, a loving wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always reaching out to those around her with a helping hand. Edna is survived by her son, William Keesee and wife, Betty, of Pawleys Island, S.C.; daughter, Sandra Bone and husband, William, of Conway, S.C.; sisters, Helen White Fincannon of Blountville, Tenn., and Phylis Peake and husband, Charles, of Erwin; grandson, Charles Preston Keesee, of Knoxville, Tenn.; great-granddaughter, Sarah Madalena Keesee, of Bristol Tennessee; great-grandson, Christopher Allen Keesee, of Moncks Corner, S.C.; a special sister-in-law, Bernice White of Bristol Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special recognition to her dear friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 ,at King Memorial Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow with the Rev. Dan Foreman officiating. The committal service and interment will be follow in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to King Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1041 Heather Road, Bristol, VA 24202.
