Edna Viola Reedy MARION, Va. Edna Viola Reedy, age 83, passed away on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, with her family by her side. She was born in Grayson County, Va., to the late Claude and Jennie Reedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reedy Sr., and a daughter , Jenny Reedy Moore. She had retired from Harwood Manufacturing after over 40 years of service. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Reedy Jr. and wife, Marie; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn Ratcliff and husband, Louie, Marion, Kathy Moore and husband, Pat, Marion, and Sandra Reedy, Marion; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy Reedy and wife, Ruth, Roanoke, Va.; her sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Ross, Troutdale, Va., Ruby Ore, Lynchburg, Va., Fannie Greer and husband, Avery, Sugar Grove, Va.; a sister-in-law, Wilma Richardson, Rugby, Va.; a brother-in-law, Doc Odham, Marion; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastor Mike Sage and Pastor Randy Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Troutdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Freedom Tabernacle Ministries, 442 Freedom Tabernacle Lane., Atkins, VA 24311 or to the Hospice of Southwest Virginia, 600 W. Ridge Rd., Wytheville, VA 24382. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com Bradley's Funeral Home of Marion is serving the family of Mrs. Reedy.
