Emily Grace Roach ABINGDON, Va. Emily Grace Roach, age six months, infant daughter of Marissa Danielle Snead and Brandon William Roach, became an angel on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, with her family by her side in Memphis, Tenn. She was born on May 29, 2009, in Abingdon and was a blessing to her entire family during her short time on earth. She was preceded in death by her great- grandmother, Mary Plummer. Survivors, in addition to her parents, are her maternal grandparents, Jeff and Barb Statzer of Dogtown, Va., and Chuck and Pamela Snead of Abingdon; great- grandmother, Bessie Snead; paternal grandparents, Gary Roach of Wytheville, Va., and Virginia Winter of Sevierville, Tenn.; great- grandfather, Danny Plummer; her best friend, Jaidyn Moran; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Price officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery on Rt. 75. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Frost Funeral Home.
