JONESBOROUGH Tenn. – Ephraim Branson Batten, age 3 weeks, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at the University of Tennessee Hospital. He was born at Holston Valley Hospital July 5, 2009. He was the son of Tim and Cindy Cuskey Batten, Jonesborough. In addition to his parents, Ephraim is also survived by two brothers; grandparents, Larry and Toni Batten, Rock Hill, S.C., and Harry and Joan Cuskey, Abingdon, Va. The family will receive friends at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the Batten family online at www.dillow-taylor.com. Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Jonesborough, 753-3821., is in charge of arrangements.
