Evelyn York ST. PAUL, Va. Evelyn York, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Mountain View Regional Medical Center, Norton, Va. She was born in Dante, Va., daughter of the late Nesby and Jennie Belle Carty York. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd York; one daughter, Kathy Smith; one son, Eugene York; and several sisters and brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Billie Jo Molinary and husband, Bobby of St Paul; one son, James Nesby York and wife, Pam of St. Paul; two sisters, Martha Leib of Arkansas, and Mable Crouch of Chicago; one brother, Fred York of Rockford, Ill.; seven grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Evelyn York will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Va., with Rev. Jerry Estep officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. Evelyn was such a wonderful person and I loved her dearly. I am so glad that I got to see her more frequently in the last little while. I will hold those memories close to my heart. She is an angel now with my Mamaw (her Mank).
