Pearl Fogleman COEBURN, Va. Evia Pearl Powers Fogleman, 82, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton, Va. Pearl was a lifelong member of Rugsby Freewill Baptist Church on Caney Ridge and was the best mother in the world to us. She was the daughter of the late Worley M. Powers and Winnie Dotson Powers; also preceeded in death by her husband, Albron Cowan "A.C." Fogleman; sisters, Ruby Stanley and Rubal Powers; brother, Edward Earl Powers. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Rose and husband, Arnold and Mary Whisenhunt and husband, Clarence, all of Coeburn; a son, Rev. Jack Fogleman and wife, Norma, Coeburn; a sister, Martha Jane "Janie" Fletcher and husband, Lacy, Clintwood; five grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Evia Pearl Fogleman will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, 11 a.m. at Rugsby Chapel Church with Rev. Tommy Slemp officiating. Burial will follow at Rugsby Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday after 6 p.m. at Estes Funeral Home. Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Pearl. We did not know until today (Wed.) or would have been with you. Our love and prayers are with each of you and again, so sorry we were not there. Jocie, Lacele and families.
