Fletcher Cale

Fletcher Lee Cale MARION, Va. Fletcher Lee Cale, age 67, passed away on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, in the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tenn . Mr. Cale was born in Smyth County to the late Charlie and Bertha Cale, and was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Cale; and a brother, Clarence Cale. He attended the Chilhowie Church of God and was retired from the S.W. Virginia Mental Health Institute after 33 years of service. In his passing, Fletcher gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. Survivors include: wife of 47 years, Imogene Cale; two brothers, Charles Cale and wife Geraldine, Marion, James Cale and wife Erma, Marion; three sisters, Lily Hayden, Marion, Reba Call and husband Mike, Lebanon, Va., Ilene Blevins, Marion; very special friends, Jimmy Holman, Wilton Blevins. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the Attoway Cemetery with Pastor Adam Blackwell officiating. The family will receive friends any time at the families home. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice.
