Floyd, I want to thank you for the concern you had for my father after he had his stroke. Your interest in his well being and your comforting kindness will always be remembered by our family. I walked into the cleaners this morning and saw the sign on the door...God bless you for being the kind and caring man you were and my prayers go out to your family. Charles Hicks.

I had just seen Floyd at the doctors office May 21. Floyd was an old friend back in the early 60's when he worked at Butler's Shoes in Southside Plaza. It was so nice to see him again but did not know it would be the last time I would talk with an old friend. Bless his family and know that he is with his maker and at peace. Love you Floyd.. rest well, Pat

I will truly miss Floyd. Being a customer of Jewel Cleaners for the past 5 years, Floyd always made sure that everything was done right. He also always had a smile on his face. We talked several times at length about life and how you should enjoy every moment. I know how much he loved his wife Joy and know that they are together again. My heart goes out to the family and how blessed you were to have Floyd in your life.

To the family of Mr. Hicks.I will greatly miss him he was my true friend. As I always told him, he was my farther away from home. We shared many good times talking, laughing and our love cars. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near.
Durning this difficult time,I would like to extend a helping hand, so please don't hesitate to call me for any reason

Mr. Hicks you will be missed by Harold, me and of course Harley, our dog. Your daily trips to and from the cleaners would favor us with your warm smiles and welcoming waves hello while walking Harley. We were very blessed by having such caring and friendly neighbors such as you and Joy. Our loss has given you the happiness you have awaited for for so long...you and Joy reuniting, now for eternity. You will be missed. God Bless.

My family and I will miss you a great deal. You always had a smile for us and helped us weather the loss of our mom, just as you were coping with your own loss. I am pleased that you and Joy are together again. Thank you for being such a wonderful person.

Mr. Hicks you will be missed dearly. We all have suffered a great loss losing such a good friend and man like you. You touched the hearts of everyone who came in contact with you!
However, I am happy for you! You are now with your beloved wife, whom you missed daily! You do not have to suffer from pain, illness, or the feeling of lose anymore!
I love you Mr. Floyd Hicks! May GOD watch over you and bless you, your wife, family and friends until we meet again!
