Frances Pierce

Frances Elizabeth Pierce Frances Elizabeth Pierce, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, from Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was the only daughter of the late Henry Wood Tillison and Nola Jane Williams Tillison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, William Harrison Pierce; and four brothers. She was a lifelong resident of Bristol and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her loving daughter, Shirley Balthis and husband Charles of Bristol Virginia; grandchildren, Tammie Allerton and husband Simon, Penny Capell and husband Mike, all of Bristol Virginia; great- grandchildren, Neil Allerton, John Allerton, Audrey Capell and Maggie Capell, all of Bristol Virginia; her special sister in Christ, Betty Fields; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:45 Tuesday evening, Dec. 29, 2009, at Blevins Funeral and Cremation Services. The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Billy Denton officiating. The committal service and interment will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 30, 2009, in Denton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Simon Allerton, Neil Allerton, John Allerton, Mike Capell, George Fields and Terry Allerton.
