Gary Douglas "Peanut" Urbani ABINGDON, Va. Gary Douglas "Peanut" Urbani died on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at the age of 53. He went home to be with the Lord after recently accepting Jesus as his personal Saviour. Gary was born on Jan. 25, 1956, in Abingdon. He was the son of Henry McKinley and Betty Annis Brittenham Urbani. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Urbani. Survivors include his mother, Betty Annis Brittenham Urbani; his brother, Tony Urbani; his sister, Bonnie Hinchey and her husband Troy; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be held privately.
